THE WHISPERS FROM MY HEART

The whispers from my heart

Laid down in the room of dark.

I listened to it carefully,

To know whether it was meant to me.

The moment of silence

Made me wonder why it stopped.

I closed my eyes,

To hear my heart's voice.

I heard it saying, "Listen to me"

In a tone of feel.

I trust my inner voice,

For it gives me no choice.

I came up with a poem,

Still I am.

They're my hearts' spell,

For it is in me that dwells.
